It's springtime once again in DF, a great letup from the blizzards and freezing temperatures of winter. Actually, the weather could probably be considered the exact opposites with warm temperatures and tropical breezes. There are few rainstorms here and there but no lacking severe enough to cause a drought, spring is acting more like early summer then late winter this year.

Hatke Forest Royal Neutral Herd: KING! Marcus Aurelius QUEEN! Open
The neutral royal lands contain rivers and graveyards, and a field in its core where many events over the years have taken place. It also contains a forest, a midway between the swamps of the darks and the wildflower fields of the lights. Engravings on the trees there show symbols of love and war from the former residents. They are engraved there as a reminder to put light on the equines who weren't too afraid to love, nor die.

Zephyr Cirque Mountains rise on three sides, protecting the gems within; A small forest and its sister lake nurtured within its bosom, vulnerable only on the south slope. Land carved long ago by glaciers serves now as a home for equines, offering its uneven terrain and crystalline waters for those who traverse its heights. Wispy snow dusts the higher peaks, and the path, while filled with strife, is worth the effort. Though space is not of its virtues, a small herd can be formed here with reasonable success.

The Black Nook The darkest corner of the neutral lands, The Black Nook is a place where the equines can bask in the dark waters of the ocean. During the sunset, the waters will take on an eerie feel, the green and blue colors covered by a thick, grey mist that seeps into the lands and hovers during the night. The lands are sparse and forgotten, though a few areas have hollows and caves where equines take shelter. The only equines that live here are those hardy enough to withstand the elements of the earth.
