The Plot...

No one knows where they came from. No one can say exactly when they arrived. But they are here now and the alliances are worried. They are felines, of a sort, but they are created from shadows. They do not seem to eat, at least not the type of food the normal felines eat and none have ever seen them sleep. They can be killed, for the alliance spies have seen them fight each other, but they do not seem to be alive in the first place. They are slowly taking over the alliances' territories, piece by piece, and there is nothing anyone can do to stop them. Except...In the face of complete annihilation the alliances might have to put aside their differences and band together to drive these invaders from their land. For if they don't...They will eventually be destroyed by these strange and terrifying felines. These Shadow Creatures.

The Shadow Creatures...

These are the Shadow Creatures. They are made from the recycled bones of fallen warriors, held together by muscle and sinew grown like ivy from the blood of the innocents. These are the workings, they have no entrails for they do not feed as mortals do. They do not live as mortals do. Protecting the delicate design is a wrapping made from shadows. From the absence of light. They can cast no shadow, the light seems to go right through them. Veins filled with captured moonbeams suffice for carrying their life force through that undead bodice. The blood is spilled silver against those sable hides. If they have hair it is as thin as sharp as the edge of a blade, though it matches their wrappings in hue, and is near unbreakable. Prominent on each visage are a pair of sunken eyes, formed from the imprisoned screams of murder victims. These undead figures are animated by the souls of dead children. They feed on emotions, the stronger the better. Their eerie calls are a mixture of babies crying, villages burning, wolves howling, chains clinking, cloth rustling, blades being sharpened and every other terrifying sound imaginable. These are the Shadow Creatures. Beware.
